Ljube Boskoski, leader of United for Macedonia, accused Prime Minister and VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski of being responsible for the campaign aiming to discredit his personality and eliminate him from Macedonia’s political stage in the light of the video just recently posted on YouTube, which, according to Boskoski, has been taken out of context with the aim of showing that Boskoski made a statement, harming Johan Tarculovski to avoid serving time at Scheveningen.
Boskoski’s defense team asked Prime Minster Gruevski in writing to stop this campaign. According to sources in United for Macedonia, the prime minister did not respond.
In his interview for Sitel TV on Tuesday, Prime Minister Gruevski said Boskoski had taken so many wrong steps that there was no need to add anything to that. Government spokesperson Martin Martinovski said the Government did nothing to do harm to Boskoski and no government officials made any statement against him or his family. According to Martinovski, the government bears no responsibility for Boskoski’s public moves.
