As long as we listen to the people and we see their troubles and problems, we will feel the responsibility, VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski told his fellow party members at the end of the party congress that was held in Stip.

Gruevski was reelected party leader by acclamation. Two documents were also adopted at this congress - "Doctrine 2007" and "Program Resolution" - which are supposed to guide the party in its future work.

"Everything that we promised in the Program, we achieved or at least we started the procedure for fulfilling the promises. We have been in power six months and no member of this Government has been linked to any criminal or corruption affairs so far. I hope that we will continue like this. There will be no mercy for anyone who dares to acquire money in this way. We will not make any difference between small and big thieves. We said, zero toleration for corruption. This is how it must be until the end," Gruevski stressed.
