Macedonia supports UN mediator Martti Ahtisaari's plan for the resolving of the status of Kosovo, "Dnevnik" reports. Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski expressed hope that Ahtisaari's plan would be part of the international community's final decision.

"We believe that the international community will find a common language as regards Kosovo. Ahtisaari's plan is a document that defines the status of Kosovo and resolves many other issues, including the issue of demarcation of the border with Kosovo," Gruevski said.

"Dnevnik" comments that Prime Minister Gruevski departed for Pristina incognito, without previously informing anyone from the domestic public about his one-day visit to Kosovo.
