The security situation in Macedonia is stable and peaceful, and all events in the region that are related to the resolving of the final status of Kosovo are being watched alertly, Macedonian Interior Minister Gordana Jankulovska said in an interview for Radio Free Europe.

"The region finds itself in an exceptionally sensitive political moment and Macedonia, as an immediate neighbor, must follow all the events. The National Security Council will convene again if needed and maybe it will come out with different conclusions about the security situation," Jankulovska said.
