Strong condemnation of all forms of religious violence and all religions that promote terror. This was the message sent from the World Conference on Dialogue among Religions and Civilizations, which was held in Ohrid this weekend. The conference was closed with the adoption of a joint declaration.

"Only by establishing broad cooperation among the civilizations, which would be founded upon the principles of mutual respect and appreciation, will we be able to contribute towards establishing premises on understanding for the other religions," states the Declaration on advancing dialogue and mutual understanding among the religions and civilizations. This declaration was supported by all religious and spiritual leaders and participants in this conference.

A total of 50 countries were represented at this dialogue among religions and civilizations in Ohrid.
