Macedonia's state and political leadership concluded following a series of meetings and consultations that UN mediator Matthew Nimetz's last proposal for resolving of the name dispute with Greece over the use of the Republic of Macedonia's constitutional name is final. The definite position on this proposal will be formed at an assembly session on Monday.

"The state leadership informed the leaders of the political parties about Nimetz's proposal and we reached two joint conclusions. The first is that, after 15 years of talks, we consider this proposal a final proposal. The second conclusion is that the process for building a position is continuing and, in accordance with the Constitution and laws, it will end with an assembly debate on Monday," Macedonian Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki said following today's meeting among the state leadership and the leaders of the biggest parliamentary parties.
