Interior Minister Ljubomir Mihajlovski claims that the security situation in Macedonia is good and that the latest bomb attacks in Prilep and Tetovo do not violate the country's security.

Macedonia's opposition does not agree with this. It claims that the explosion in Prilep Mayor Marijan Ristevski's yard is an attack against the institution mayor and the local self-government. VMRO-DPMNE warns that the functioning of the system is threatened and that this would have consequences on the overall situation in the country.
