One person was wounded in an armed confrontation with the police in the Skopje village of Aracinovo this morning, the Interior Ministry confirmed, the media report.
The initial reports from the police are that they were informed by the election committee that a group had tried to stuff ballot boxes in the polling place in the Skopje village of Grusino. When the members of the “Alfa” police unit arrived at the polling place, the group fled. The police pursued them to the village of Aracinovo, where the group opened fire on the police members. The police returned fire, and one individual was wounded in this armed clash.

After this incident, the police uncovered two vehicles full of weapons in Grusino.
