The Macedonian Foreign Ministry informed that a Greek military contingent, part of the KFOR forces in Kosovo, was prevented from entering Macedonia on Tuesday because it did not have complete documentation.
“The SOFA Agreement on passage of such military contingents stipulates that a NATO travel order and identification documents are needed. The Macedonian authorities found that the troops had national travel orders, written in Greek, and that the list of individuals and equipment did not agree with the facts,” Foreign Ministry Spokesman Vasko Andonovski explained.
