UN mediator Matthew Nimetz will arrive in Skopje today where he will meet with Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski and Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.

Nimetz visited Athens yesterday, where he met with Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis. The UN mediator said after the meeting that he presented a few proposals, but he did not want to say which proposals. He underlined that the Macedonian identity is not part of these proposals.

UN mediator Nimetz and Greek Foreign Minister Bakoyannis also agreed that 9 July is not the final deadline for resolving of this issue.
