Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said yesterday that he had not read EU Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn’s last message, in which he stated that Macedonia does not deserve to be given a date for start of the negotiations for membership in the EU. For this reason, the prime minister did not want to comment on this statement during his visit to Veles yesterday.

“I have not read this message. When I read it, I will comment on it. The only thing that I know is that it was announced earlier that Macedonia would not receive a date for start of the negotiations this year,” Gruevski stated.
