Professor Ljubomir Frckoski’s secret witness, who attested that Security and Counterintelligence Department structures were involved in the assassination attempt on former President Kiro Gligorov, gave a deposition to the Public Prosecutor on Monday, the media report.

For safety reasons, the witness submitted a written statement a few days ago. Yesterday, the witness presented to Public Prosecutor Ljupco Svrgovski all the information that he gave professor Frckoski. Svrgovski confirmed that he took testimony, stressing that it is still early to prejudge whether an official investigation would be launched.
