Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev arrived on a two-day official visit to Macedonia on Sunday. Stanishev will meet with Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, and Assembly Chairman Trajko Veljanoski today. The two prime ministers will also attend the ceremony for the formal opening of the Dubrovo-Cervena Mogila power-transmission line in Negotino. An agreement on economic cooperation will also be signed by the Macedonian and Bulgarian Economy Ministers, Fatmir Besimi and Petar Dimitrov.
A gala concert was held in Skopje on Sunday on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Macedonia and Bulgaria. This concert was attended by the prime ministers of the two countries, Nikola Gruevski and Sergey Stanishev.
