INFOMAC Daily News Service - The Macedonian police cut on Tuesday organized channel for trafficking in people and stolen vehicles. Nine persons including two policemen from the Bogorodica border crossing have been detained, as arrest warrants have been issued for another two.

They were operatively tracked and filmed over the past six months. With sophisticated equipment for night and remote filming, records were collected of all their criminal activities. Some of the men were caught Tuesday transporting illegally to Greece 16 Albanian migrants in a specialized truck.

The second case refers to an attempt at transporting via Macedonia a vehicle stolen in Spain. V.N. (39) in cooperation with duty officer G.V. (38) did not record the vehicle's crossing of the Macedonian border.

"It's indicative that they were discovered at the same border crossing, Bogoridica, and that in both the cases the chief organizer was S.D. (32) from Skopje. Two officers are involved, and the others are under investigation," said Interior Ministry Spokesperson Borce Pesevski.

The Ministry of Interior reported that all the activities have been instructed by the Public Prosecution and ordered by the Skopje investigative judge, who was in charge of the investigation.
