The Macedonians from the diaspora should all be united in meeting Macedonia’s strategic and national interests, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said Sunday at his meeting with Macedonians in Australia, who, in his view, are an integral part of the Macedonian social fabric.
“We all share the same goal and the same idea, to help Macedonia. Before I came here, I received many messages and suggestions as to whom I should invite and meet. I decided to invite all Macedonians. I am happy to see you together and united, because we cannot attain our goal otherwise. There have to be differences and there will always be differences. But when it comes to Macedonia’s strategic and national interests, we have to be united and stick together. That is what makes some countries stronger and others weaker,” Prime Minister Gruevski said.
