At Brussels's suggestion, we implemented unpopular reforms. Now it is the European Union's turn to fulfill its promises, Deputy Prime Minister Radmila Sekerinska said yesterday.
Macedonia was told throughout year 2005 that the status candidate for membership depends only on us. We really implemented this as a principle in our conduct, as a result of which Macedonia made courageous reform moves - deputy prime minister said.
Sekerinska refused to comment yesterday on the various speculative scenarios. She said that a negative decision by Brussels would have negative consequences on Macedonia.
