Everybody with their own proposals and demands. This is how the chairmen of the four political parties are going to participate in the leaders’ meeting Thursday, at which the discussion regarding the constitutional changes is expected to resume.
Since the last meeting of the four party leaders at which VMRO-DPMNE raised the issue of making constitutional changes concerning the Judicial Council less than a month ago, SDSM, BDI and Demokracia e Re have worked hard on their proposals. They say that in addition to VMRO-DPMNE’s proposals for constitutional changes, their own demands will be tabled, too. Apart from the well-known demands of the Albanian parties for constitutional expansion of the Badinter principle, a new proposal is coming from SDSM as well. They will demand that the Constitution bans the possibility for privatization cases to become time-barred. PDSH said its leader Menduh Thaci would not attend this meeting either.
