Macedonia is expected to receive some 450 million euros from EBRD for a package of projects in the areas of road infrastructure, railway and energy. This was said at the meetings that Deputy Prime Minister Zoran Stavreski had in Zagreb with representatives of EBRD.
EBRD is interested in the project for revitalization of the railways from Corridors 10 and 8, as well as for the project for building the gas pipeline system. The bank is also expected to confirm the grant of 500,000 euros for developing a feasibility study for the railway of Corridor 8 and to reach a decision by end June for a loan of 17.6 million euros for reconstruction of the railroad of Corridor 10.
