Director of Macedonia's Directorate for Prevention of Money Laundering Vane Cvetanov on Tuesday handed in his resignation with a written statement. He said that the reason for this move is the unpreparedness of PM Gruevski to decisively deal with an uncompromised battle against crime.
“I hand in my resignation, not because of the demand of the Anticorruption Committee but because of your decisive policy and the noninterest for a fight against the true crime,” says Cvetanov in his written statement for the media.
