Macedonia is most probably going to abstain from voting on the Serbian resolution on Kosovo at the UN on 9 September. This is logical considering that Macedonia recognized Kosovo in October 2008 and at the same time insist on keeping friendly relations with Serbia.
Not just Macedonia, but other representatives too “may lose their way through the corridors of the building where the session of the UN General Assembly in New York will be taking place and not be present when the Kosovo resolution is voted on,” experts say.
