- Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski stressed in his annual address to the nation that 2011 would be a year in which Macedonia would continue working tirelessly to achieve a higher economic growth. The effort to seek out a solution to the name issue will continue too to unblock Macedonia’s integration into the EU and NATO. Congratulating the New Year, he stressed however that the most important thing was having internal unity and mutual respect.
