In July this year MOBIMAK will rebrand into T-Mobile Macedonia, while in January year 2007 Makedonski Telekomunikacii will rebrand into T-Com Macedonia. This was announced officially in Skopje today.

At the end of February this year the Boards of Directors of Makedonski Telekomunikacii and MOBIMAK will have to make a decision on rebranding
of these two companies.

At today's meeting between Macedonian Prime Minister Vlado Buckovski, Elek Straub, executive director of Magyar Telekom, and Mike Gunther, member of the Board of Directors of T-Mobile International, the officials expressed satisfaction that two world renowned companies Deutsche Telecom and T-Mobile would be present in the Republic of Macedonia with their brands.

Deutsche Telecom and T-Mobile's decision to be present on the Macedonian market with their brands was made after the Republic of Macedonia was granted the status candidate for membership into the European Union.
