Macedonian Interior Minister Ljubomir Mihajlovski does not refuse to meet with the European Parliament delegation, the Interior Ministry reported officially. The ministry stated that the misunderstanding occurred as a result of an incorrect agency information based on the term "interrogation". Interior Minister Mihajlovski will meet with the delegation after 26 April.

Claudio Fava, reporter of the European Parliament committee entrusted with the task of probing CIA's activities in Europe, stated that Macedonia has a political and moral obligation to participate in the uncovering of the truth about the "El Masri" case. Fava's reaction follows a Macedonian Interior Ministry representative's statement that Interior Minister Mihajlovski does not want to respond to the questions of the investigative parliamentary committee, which will arrive in Skopje on 27 April.
