Finance Minister Nikola Popovski stated this weekend that there would be no problems on the way to Macedonia's full-fledged membership of the EU.

"Macedonia's GDP is only 0.04 percent relative to that of the 25 EU member states. We have only 2 million citizens as against the population of almost half a billion of the EU member countries. Therefore I trust we pose no threat to the EU's absorption capacity," Minister Popovski stated.
