- Croatia is to protect the consensus at the EU Summit in December and meanwhile it will wait for the political agreement between Macedonia and Greece, said Croatian President Ivo Josipovic at the meeting with Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov. Josipovic said that his country is monitoring the efforts that Macedonia is making to meet all criteria for EU and NATO membership but on the other hand stressed that Croatia is also nourishing excellent relations with Greece. President Ivanov, ahead of Nimetz’s visit, stated that Macedonia is always prepared for talks with the mediator.
