- The OSCE/ODIHR Mission stressed that the elections were efficiently conducted and that citizens had the opportunity to make a clear choice among candidates. Expressing his preliminary assessment, the OSCE/ODIHR Head of Mission Geert-Hinrich Ahrens said in the second round of the presidential elections, the remarks of the first round remained. However, the OSCE has no mandate to comment on results and politicians’ moves, he added. The OSCE said they regretted SDSM’s decision to boycott the voting process.
