- Latvia remains to be a strong supporter of Macedonia's Euro-Atlantic aspirations, said Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki after meeting his Latvian counterpart Edgars Rinkēvičs in Ohrid. Latvia is going to chair the European Union in the first half of next year, which is a very important period for Macedonia. Minister Rinkēvičs also met President Gjorge Ivanov and Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.
