The first package of state-owned shares in Makedonski telekomunikacii was sold today on the Macedonian Stock Exchange at a price of 389 denars per share. The package of 9,488,040 shares was sold off without bidding considering that there was only one offer at the public auction.
From 5 to 9 June, the Government is selling its shares of the Macedonian telecom in the amount of 275,027,800 euros. 45.12 percent of Telecom's total shares, or 43,247,250 shares, are put for sale. The starting price is 6.36 euros per share and the nominal value is 100 denars.
