Possible independence of Kosovo could threaten the stability of this region, Serbian President Boris Tadic said yesterday following his meeting with Macedonian President Branko Crvenkovski. Tadic visited Macedonia within the frames of his tour of the neighboring countries, which is being held parallel with Serbia's efforts to convince its neighbors and the international community that broad autonomy for Kosovo is the best resolution for the region. Crvenkovski said that he would support every resolution for the future status of this province that the two sides will agree on and that will not threaten Macedonia's integrity and sovereignty.
