Ljubisa Georgievski from VMRO-DPMNE is the candidate for the position chairperson of the Assembly, at the proposal of the VMRO-DPMNE Executive Committee. Ljubisa Georgievski was this party's presidential candidate in the early 1990s and Macedonian ambassador to Bulgaria. Georgievski is a well-known theater director and professor of theater production at the Theater and Film Academy in Skopje.
