"I was indeed aware that our people, regardless of their national or religious affiliation, have the ….will to respect it and to allow its implementation bring the benefits, President Crvenkovski said Thursday at a reception in Ohrid villa Biljana regarding the fifth anniversary of Framework Agreement.

Regarding the incoming government’s commitment to setting the economy and fight against poverty and unemployment as its highest priorities, Crvenkovski said: “I wish you all the success in the accomplishment of this commitment, for which you will have my full support. However, I appeal that you never undermine the importance of good inter-ethnic relations”.

President Crvenkovski also called on DUI's leadership to not be overwhelmed by emotions and hastily lose the hardly earned political capital.
