Turkish products will be on display at the Skopje Fair grounds from 14 to 16 September. The fair's end is bringing Turkey's export potentials closer to the Macedonian businessmen and paving the way for setting up business contacts.
Thirty-four big and mid-size companies from a number of areas will take part in the fair of Turkish export products.
"Visitors will get to see products of a number of industries, such as chemicals, furniture, textile and ready-made clothes, machines and machine parts and food. The Commerce Association, the Center for Export Promotion and the Association of Travel Agencies will also present themselves. This fair is organized in Macedonia for the first time and also this is the first time that a country organizes such an event," says Hatije Karadeniz, economic advisor to the Turkish Embassy in Macedonia.
In her view, Macedonia and Turkey are traditionally good partners. The countries have signed easier trade deals, but neither citizens nor firms have so far felt the benefits of it.
