Washington and the international community are going to continue supporting Macedonia in realizing the government's democratic reforms hoping to continue the productive partnership between the US and Macedonia, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice wrote to Macedonian Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki.

The Republic of Macedonia has achieved significant progress with the implementation of the Framework Agreement and important judicial and military reforms. Those reforms were verified by the acquiring of the EU candidate status in 2005, thus strengthening the country's candidacy for NATO accession, reads the note of congratulations to newly elected FM Milososki.
