On the occasion of the beginning of Islamic holy month of Ramadan, Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski extended congratulations to the head of Islamic community in Macedonia , Reis Ul Ulema Haxhi Sulejman Efendi Rexhepi.

"On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia , I congratulate the start of a holy month of fasting - Ramadan. I extend greetings to you as well as to Islamic believers and wishes for good health and pleasant holidays," PM Gruevski said.

"Once again, I stress my commitment to working together in order to bring the people closer, and to let peace and love prevail among the citizens."
