Macedonia and Norway signed a readmission agreement in Skopje yesterday.
Macedonian Interior Minister Gordana Jankuloska and Norwegian Ambassador to Macedonia Carl Schiotz Wibye signed the agreement on behalf of their respective countries.
Jankuloska said that Macedonia is at the halfway point of the procedure for signing readmission agreements and that the agreement with Norway is the 13th such agreement signed.
The Norwegian ambassador said that this agreement would greatly alleviate the procedures for returning citizens who do not have any legal basis for residence in the country-host and he stressed that this agreement would be of great benefit to both countries.
