A new factory for production of working clothes, Arlen Macedonia, was put to work in Delcevo. It is a Macedonian-Polish investment of 1.2 million euros with a 120-strong workforce.

The opening ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, Economy Minister Vera Rafajlovska, Polish Ambassador to Macedonia Andrzej Dobrzynski and a number of businessmen from Poland and Macedonia.

"I'm very confident that this investment will encourage many companies in Poland to invest in Macedonia, and the investment itself will be recorded as the best form of development and promotion of the economic reforms in Macedonia," Ambassador Dobrzynski said.

Minister Rafajlovska laid stress on the Government's willingness to fully assist the realization of such economic undertakings. She underlined that Arlen was only one in a series of Polish investments for which the Government is creating a special environment for their swift realization.
