The European Union Mission in Skopje announced today that it welcomes the Government's efforts to investigate the recent appointment of a new acting rector of the Tetovo State University.

"The European Union Mission in Skopje reiterates that any final decision on the matter must be in full accordance with the applicable law and with the constitutionally guaranteed principle of university autonomy," reads the official statement to the media.
