The Government decided to free farmers registered to pay cadastre income tax from personal income tax until the end of 2008.

The Government is thus extending direct help to the most impoverished farmers with the smallest income, which is not enough for paying tax.

This measure is part of the overall policy for increased assistance to farmers, particularly for those categories making their living from agriculture, the Government announced.
