Dialogue with monologues. This was the opposition's assessment of the two-day debate in Mavrovo, which was attended by political party leaders and international community representatives. This round table was dedicated to the implementation of the Ohrid agreement, the country's Euro-Atlantic integration, and the differences between the Government and the opposition. The leaders of the two biggest Albanian parties in Macedonia, BDI's Ali Ahmeti and PDSH's Arben Xhaferi, did not attend the meeting.

SDSM leader Radmila Sekerinska assessed that Ali Ahmeti and Arben Xhaferi made a mistake by not attending the meeting because they did not take advantage of the chance to say what they think.

Nikola Gruevski, Macedonian prime minister and leader of VMRO-DPMNE, assessed this meeting as an opportunity for an agreement to be reached on important laws related to improvement of the citizens' living standard.

EU Ambassador to Macedonia Erwan Fouere said that he is disappointed with Ali Ahmeti's nonparticipation in the meeting in Mavrovo. But he expressed satisfaction that the parties are finding a way to talk about the future plans of the country.

The meeting in Mavrovo was organized by the Swiss Embassy.
