PPD will enter the ruling coalition after New Year, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski informed the members of the VMRO-DPMNE Central Committee. PPD sources confirmed that negotiations are currently underway for their entry into the Government.

Party sources said that VMRO-DPMNE would bring PPD into the Government to secure a Badinter majority in the Assembly. This would be secured with the three PPD parliamentarians and the parliamentarians of the Romanies, Turks, and Serbs. To enter the Government, the parliamentarians of the smaller ethnic communities want a special ministry for minority issues and human rights.
