The Macedonian citizens will receive the new passports in four months, Interior Minister Gordana Jankulovska said at yesterday's presentation of the first personalization machine in the world, which is owned by the Interior Ministry. The new ID documents will be made on this machine, "Dnevnik" reports.

"The Personalization Center meets the highest world standards from the aspect of securing and preserving the blankets intended for the production of the new ID documents. Macedonia is the first country in the world that has this personalization machine. The machine fulfills all technical standards. It can write the Macedonian citizens' personal information in the Macedonian Cyrillic alphabet and in the alphabet of the languages of the ethnic communities, as stipulated in the statutory regulation," Interior Minister Jankulovska said.
