Milososki - Kolinda

Croatian Foreign Minister Kolinda Grabar-Kitanovic met with Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki in Skopje on Wednesday. She announced investments by Croatian companies and exchange of experiences for the EU integration processes.

Foreign Ministers Milososki and Grabar-Kitanovic assessed the relations between Macedonia and Croatia as exceptional, with the remark that the economic and business cooperation does not follow the intensity of the political cooperation. "Precisely for this reason, Macedonia chose Croatia as one of the countries in which we will advertise our tax reforms, thus treating the Croatian economy as a potential that can be used in the country," Milososki said.

Grabar-Kitanovic stressed that there is a need for intensification of the economic cooperation between the two countries.

"There is an increasing interest among Croatian businessmen for investment in Macedonia," Grabar-Kitanovic said. The two foreign ministers also expressed readiness to sign an agreement concerning the Croatian and Macedonian minorities in Macedonia and Croatia.
