ABDURAHMAN MEHMETI ELECTED LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT MINISTER

Abdurahman Mehmeti from PPD was elected local self-government minister yesterday with 68 votes for.

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said before the parliamentarians yesterday that former Local Self-government Minister Zoran Konjanovski performed his job excellently. He expressed conviction that Mehmeti would administer this ministry equally well. The prime minister stressed that PPD is the oldest party of the Albanians in Macedonia, noting that it had always had good cadre in all Macedonian Governments so far.
