The Government and the opposition expressed moderate optimism following yesterday's meeting of the leaders of the parliamentary parties that they would overcome the blockade of the judicial reforms at next week's meeting. The media report that the talks among the parliamentary party leaders would continue on Tuesday. The leaders will discuss the Law on Public Prosecution and the Law on Administrative Disputes. The completion of the State Judicial Council will be discussed on Wednesday, after the competition for members of this council closes.

"The Law on Public Prosecution is part of the European Union's Twinning program, which the Government supports. The EU experts asked that this law remain such as it is and we explained this to the opposition. Now they have to consider our arguments. We will assess the resolutions that they proposed and we will reach a concrete agreement at the next meetings," Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski said yesterday.
