The Government encourages oil distributors from Macedonia to start importing diesel with ECO 5 standards and plans to cancel the import duty on this type of fuel, which stands at 20 percent per liter.

According to Government Spokesperson Ivica Bocevski, the Government launches the initiative for cancellation of this customs duty at the insistence of the European Union with a view to introducing the Union's strict environmental standards.
