Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski discussed the political dialogue in Macedonia and the implementation of the reforms with EU Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn and EU Senior Representative for Security and Foreign Policy Javier Solana in Brussels yesterday. The media reported that Gruevski and Rehn's joint press conference was canceled. Gruevski told the correspondents of the Macedonian media that no agreement was signed between VMRO-DPMNE and BDI, stressing that they only reached a verbal agreement on three points. He said that there are fundamental differences between VMRO-DPMNE and BDI as regards the other three points. Prime Minister Gruevski said that he informed Solana about this in detail.
The Macedonian prime minister told journalists that he hopes that the report that will be released by the European Commission in November will portray Macedonia's efforts aimed at opening its EU perspectives.
